Alfonal KD is a nonionic surfactant most commonly used in the formulation of personal care products, cosmetics, laundry and household detergents where it acts as a wetting agent, foam booster and stabilizer, hair/fibre softener, antistatic and re-fatting agent, perfume fixing agent, solubilizer of components heavily miscible with water as well as efficient dispersant and both w/o and o/w emulsifier promoting detergency of the product
